Coaching Staff

Vanessa Muniz

Vanessa played second base at Fairleigh Dickinson University, as well as shortstop and right field. She was part of the team that was dominate in the MAC conference and has made an appearance in the NCAA DIII semi-finals tournament in 2008.

The Kenilworth resident was part of the Bears softball team that went on to win 2 state championships and 1 Union County championship. She is decorated with many awards, 2-time state champion, 2005 Union County champion, and a 4 time Mountain Valley Conference champion. Being elected to the 1st Team All State team in 2005 and 2006, as well as to the 1st Team All County and 1st Team All Conference.

Jessica Kennick

Jessica is from Middlesex, NJ and played competitive fastpitch travel ball for 8 years. Jessica was a 4-Year Varsity starter who specialized in the left side of the infield and outfield. She was awarded 2nd Team All County for her hitting and defensive skills. Jessica attended The College of New Jersey where she specialized in defense by playing third base.

Jen Haas

Jen was a pitcher and outfielder at Fairleigh Dickinson University. During her tenure there she led the team in homeruns her freshman season. She was given the team’s Rookie of The Year Award in 2006 and was an FDU NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete in 2007. In her rookie year, she led the team in RBI’s during the regular season.

During her high school career, she excelled and dominated in pitching, hitting, and fielding. During the 2004 season, she finished with a record of 15-2, with 11 shutouts and an ERA of 0.62. Jen led her team to Division Titles in 2004 and 2005, a Conference Title in 2004, and led her team to the State Finals in 2004. Jen and her 2004 team were inducted into the Hammonton High School Hall of Fame in 2006.

Jen has had 8 years of travel softball experience and has played in various high level tournaments throughout her softball career. After college, she coached at the Freshman, JV, and Varsity levels. These teams all went on to have winning seasons and competed for conference and divisional titles.
